We had a billion dollar project that was struggling with logistics and custom clearance; delays and the associated costs were increasing. The overall schedule was faltering and major cost overruns were a distinct possibility. The relationship with our construction partner and client was suffering and required immediate action. Within a month of joining, Albert had identified the root cause of the problems, and had established clear lines of communication with freight forwarders, custom brokers, and the client. He implemented immediate corrective actions including key performance indicators that gave me a much better overall visibility of the Logistics challenges on the project, not only from a financial point of view, but also on a performance level.
